General Features

Employees
- Employee name and address information
- Employee browse by name, Social Security Number, organization (company, department, position, etc.) and Job Code.
- Unlimited number of user-defined fields allows for entry of special HR information, dates, etc.
- Individual employee setups for deductions and benefits processing.
- Global edit function allows a quick way to change setups or rates for selected groups of employees.
- Time card profile for quick entry of individual's time.
- Ability for employees to receive paper check, direct deposit to unlimited number of checking and/or savings accounts, or both.
Payroll Processing
- May setup pay periods in advance, stating which deductions and benefits to process in a particular pay.
- Ability for multiple people to do time entry at the same time into the same batch or separate batches.
- Ability to override a G/L account number on the fly during entry.
- Automatic time card option to auto-calculate salaried employees.

Direct Deposit

Benefits
- Unlimited number of employer benefit elements can be set up to calculate, report, and export directly to A/P and G/L.

- May be set up in advance utilizing effective dates.
- Calculates workers compensation as an employer benefit.
Reports
- Payroll check register is printed in check number sequence reflecting all data necessary for bank reconciliation. Bank reconciliation for payroll is accomplished through the Fund Accounting software system.
- Payroll Ledger reflects time reported, earnings accumulated, and all deductions. It includes both current and year-to-date data. The report also provides for organizational structure totals.
- Element Ledger prints employees' setups for any tax, deduction, or benefit element.

- Deduction registers reflecting all data necessary to document the deductions and make the proper disbursement of said monies.
- Reports all miscellaneous adjustments affecting the current payroll.
- Printing of payroll time sheets using Excel.
- Gross Wages journal for G/L on paper report and subsequent magnetic batch. Import of same data into G/L. This is accomplished by allowing each employee to have an unlimited number of allocations (or split distributions) of their gross wages into the G/L. There is an unlimited number of allowable allocations per employee per pay period.
- Based on the unlimited number of allocations mentioned above on a per payroll period basis, journals for the G/L are provided on paper and subsequently imported into A/P and G/L for the gross wages liability and all employer benefits.
- Employee cost report, showing a combination of wages and benefits, representing the total cost to the employer, by any part of the organization structure (employee, department, position, etc.).
- Report Writer
- Allows complete customization of most reports.
- Ability to pull any selection of hours, earnings, taxes, deductions, and/or benefits information for any range of employees for any range of past history.
- View, print to paper, PDF, or export to Excel.
- On-screen query reporting with ability to drill down to a more detailed level, even to the unlimited past detail history for any employee.
- Any report can be printed As Of a certain date for statistical reporting.
Government Reporting
- Reports all federal, state, and local taxes for current period, quarterly, and annual purposes.
- Reports federal and state unemployment compensation.
- Magnetic, electronic, or paper reporting of all federal, state, and local taxes, as well as W2's.
- Ability to reprint reports or re-file (if necessary) government reports for past years and/or quarters.
- Option to print W2's on preprinted W2 forms or blank perforated paper.

- Help is available for any option by pressing F1.
- Includes a table of contents, topic index, and complete word search.
- Links to related topics within help context provide additional information.
- Help illustrations give step-by-step instructions in picture form.
Security
- Security is set for every menu option for every user. It allows/disallows access to the option, and determines whether or not entry is allowed for that option.
- Each user has a user name and password to sign on to the system.
- User preferences (Each user can set his/her own preferences for screen colors, font sizes, etc.)
- Security filtering can be set so a user is limited to predetermined employee data for browsing, entry, and printing.
