Status Codes Setup:
Setup – Object Divisions. Object Type: Status Codes. Div Level: Click on the dropdown to select a part of the status code structure. The codes for that part will be listed below. You may add, edit, or delete from this list. These may be named whatever you like.
The following illustration shows setup for a 4-part status code.

After adding a line (A=Active), click Edit (or double-click) to assign the functions (Y/N) for this status as shown below. This setup indicates that employees with the code A=Active will be included in time entry, in arrears and benefits processing.

Do the same for each line (I=Inactive, L=Leave, etc.)

Part 2 had no functions assigned so there is no further entry required for Part 2.

After adding a line (F32), click Edit (or double-click) to assign the functions (Y/N) for this status as follows:

Do the same for each line (F35, F37, etc.)

Part 4 had no functions assigned so there is no further entry required for Part 4.
On the employee maintenance screen, the 4-part status code appears as follows. Each part may be changed by selecting the codes from the dropdown or by keying in the code.

In the report writer, the entire status code may be printed by selecting “Status” or any part/s may be selected--“Status Part 1”, etc.

In a report, a 4-part employee status will appear as follows.
