G/L – Tools – Global Budget Options: Spread Amount Based on Column

This option assumes you have already entered the annual budget amount for each account in the selected range of accounts. Now you wish to spread the annual budget based on the same month-to-month percentage of the annual budget for a selected prior year.

Enter the range of G/L account numbers and the budget year to be calculated.

Enter the year to base the calculation and whether to calculate based on actual or budget figures for that year.

Click OK. The monthly budget amounts will be calculated and auto-entered for this range of accounts.
