This screen assigns the scheduled G/L account numbers to be used in double-entry accounting.   Each fund/company will use the same accounts payable account number and same cash account numbers.

 

If multiple G/L cash accounts are utilized, all possible accounts must be entered on this screen.  During the Cash Disbursements (check writing) process, the cash account will be selected and validated from this list. 

 

 

Enter the void check (scheduled account) used in each fund/company when a check is voided. (Do not include the fund/company#.)  If there is no specific void check account, use the Accounts Payable account.

 

Enter the Accounts Payable (scheduled) account used in each fund/company. (Do not include the fund/company#.)

 

Click the Add icon to enter all possible G/L cash account numbers that may have checks written.  (Do not include the fund/company#.)  Click Default on the G/L account most often used.
